1 chronicles 29v1 says that God had chosen Solomon to build His House. and even though he was ‘young and inexperienced’, and the work ‘was great’, Solomon was still the man for the job.

Im sure you will feel out of your depth this year in some of the tasks God leads you to, but in the words of King David.. 1chronicles 28 v20- …be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed,  for the Lord God- my God - will be with you.

GOD IS WITH YOU!! Go for it. Chase the dreams of your heart and KNOW… (without a shadow of a doubt)… that God will be with you on your journey!!

So to set the record straight the name initally came from our first band ‘Reed’ of which Neilly G and myself (Robbie Freeburn) were members.

Reed came from Mathew 12:20 which is quoting from Isaiah 42:1-4 “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope”

The ’star’ bit was added later when we wanted to reform the band as ‘Reedstar’ and in this case like the star of Bethlehem signifies us the band directing people to Jesus.
